What Is A Genetic Breeder?
Genetic Bulldog Breeders are the only group of extremely high quality breeders in the United States who do not line breed bulldogs. Not a single G.B.B.A. puppy is the product of line breeding. Line breeding is the single most contributing factor in nearly every health issue found in bulldogs today.

A Genetic Bulldog Breeder only breeds for improved health, personality, and show quality features. Each breeding by a member of the G.B.B.A. is planned in advance (often many years) with a healthy non-line bred genetically matched mate.

Code of Ethics
Code of Ethics
1. HEALTH is the number one factor that determines a genetic breeding. Because the bulldog has been so abused by line breeding, I will never knowingly breed bulldogs with known health issues.

2. PERSONALITY is the second feature of any breeding. Realizing that genetically a bulldog’s personality is passed in any breeding, (as are the physical features) I will not breed any bulldog with a personality problem and will maintain the best standard of a lovable personality in every bulldog.

3. SHOW QUALITY is not my main goal in a genetic breeding. Health and personality improvement are my constant goal. I will never breed a bulldog with known sub-standard features that do not adhere to the strict features found in the (click to see) Bulldog Standard. However, due to the strict standards of the G.B.B.A. in breeding “genetic features” that adhere strictly to the bulldog standard show quality puppies are often the result.

4. I WILL NEVER LINE BREED A BULLDOG. I will never breed Father to Daughter, Mother to Son or Grandfather to Granddaughter thereby increasing health issues. Any line breeding will result in my immediate termination.

5. I WILL NOT RELEASE a puppy at 8 weeks of age since most health issues are more easily detectable between 8 and 12 weeks of age. During that time I will test the heart and lungs of the puppy as well as the movement of the puppy prior to delivery.

6. I WILL NOT SHIP A PUPPY CARGO under 25 pounds. Cargo shipped puppies face to much stress and the exposure to potential of disease. I will deliver via Pet Nanny whereby the puppy will ride on the plane with the humans and will be hand delivered to the new owners.

7. I WILL RESPOND QUICKLY to any calls or any issue that concerns an owner. I will back every puppy with the G.B.B.A. warranty, which includes the exclusive “Bumper to Bumper Warranty” and the G.B.B.A. will replace any puppy that dies by accident if this coverage is purchased by the new owners.

8. Any failure on my part to adhere to the strict breeding standards, and customer service, of the G.B.B.A. will result in my immediate termination as a member.
